Product Features:
Mexican artisan Javier Servin began his ceramic experience in Mexico City. 'Then I decided to start my own workshop at my parents' house,' he recalls. 'It was just my wife and I. In 1996, I returned to my village and have been able to offer jobs to more than 30 master ceramists in my community. After shaping the piece by hand, we trace the patterns with a burin for the decorative motifs, which we apply with glaze before firing. Our collections range from home decor to exhibition pieces.'

Beautiful bedside lamp
Handpainted, this lamp is a true piece of artwork. Not a reading lamp, but perfect to leave on in a bedroom after dark when you know you are coming back and don't want to use or may not have a handy switch for a ceiling light. This is the second lamp of this kind that I have purchased; it is a beautiful addition to my room. I had to replace the switch and bulb base on the first lamp, but this one works beautifullly.
- Did the color match the color displayed onsite? Mostly---primary colors are beige, blue and ruddy-red.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Good; I prefer a lamp switch closer to the base of the lamp, but it works fine
- How accurate was the sizing? This is a small lamp; however, I had purchased another one, and it was smaller than this one. It is now a nightlight.

Nice little lamp
It took forever to get here, but once it did, this lamp was just what we wanted. It sits on the top of a tall chest of drawers so we wanted something small, and this lamp is really small - smaller than it looks in the photo. It puts out only a small amount of light, but that's not why we bought it. It works well for our needs.

Lamp lacks functionality
I found the lamp to be a disappointment. Initially, I was excited to find this product since I love the artistry in the base. However, it really is a stretch to call it a lamp. The scale of is is quite small, making it hard to find an appropriate location, let alone use, for it. Ultimately, I returned it.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. the ceramic base is beautiful and I have always admired the artist. From there, the lamp was substandard. The shade is cheap and the toggle switch is in an awkward location.
- How accurate was the sizing? Hard to say...but it was smaller than expected

Not as pictured or as described.
Who would want such a small lamp? It has a 4" base and is 4 3/4" high without the shade. The dominate colors are dark purple bright green and pink. Maybe i'll give this to my niece.

Tiny
The table lamp is great if you're trying to outfit a dollhouse. The hardware on top of the ceramic base is shorter than the picture shows. Don't buy this, it's a joke.
