Story Behind the Art:
Balinese artisan Putu Oka Mahendra inherited his ceramic legacy from his mother, Made Tantri, who pioneered ceramic artistry in 1980. At first, she undertook the entire design and crafting procedure by herself, and developed a reputation for fine design and high quality. In 1990, when Tantri passed away, Oka Mahendra took-over her work, and eventually opened a showroom in her memory. The award winning designer finds inspiration in the luscious flora and fauna of Bali.

Frog Teapot no good
Don't buy, the handle didn't work, so the lid never closed properly, and I burned myself a couple of times forgetting and grabbing the hot tea pot so that it didn't fall when I lifted it by the handle; found a much better one for a good price on Amazon so I've tossed this one out as it's usless without a handle. thanks, Kelley
