Product Features:
Jorge Quevedo was born and raised in a Mexican city renowned for its majolica ceramics. 'Although my family worked in other fields, I was fascinated by ceramics and, while still in high school, I took a job in a pottery workshop. After several years, I wanted to set up my own ceramics studio, and I saved up until I was finally able. It started out small, but little by little, my workshop grew. My work blends traditional designs with my modern, lead-free technique.'

Beautiful shape
It arrived in more than adequate packaging. Quite beautiful and works well with my dinnerware. I would love more serving pieces from this potter, particularly larger serving pieces, pitchers, etc.

a very nice adiition to any living room
I bought this plate just for decoration, but it can be easily used to serve appetizers or hold glasses. Being quite distinctive, it makes a focal point on the shelf where is placed and can start a conversation. One can say it was picked by himself/herself in his/her travels and weave a story around it :)
