Product Features:
Angel Ceron comes from a family with generations of artisan experience. He learned the family ceramic techniques from his father, Antonio Ceron Orta, a renowned artisan. Angel began a long study of Mexico's pre-Hispanic cultures and learned the Nahuatl language.First the proper materials must be acquired. Ceron uses clay from northern Oaxaca, the only clay of this kind in Mexico and perhaps in the world. The unique characteristics of this yellow clay make it ideal for molding. It dries evenly and is especially hard.The details are created totally by hand and some figures are so complicated that they are absolutely unique or part of limited editions.

wonderful item
My husband had 2 of these calanders so I ordered another one. This one is bigger and nicer than the 2 that he had obtained from Mexico. A very nice addition to our collection.

Nice!
Very nice hand made product. The sealant used on top of the terracotta makes the front shiny and darker in some spots more than others, and although I would have preferred a more matte finish, it still looks beautiful.

The piece is very detailed and well-done. Shipping took some time (a couple of weeks) but i didn't mind it in the end. The product was shipped all the way from Mexico.
