These were a generalized disappointment, unfortunately. They have decent frames that compare to the description, but please believe that these are not paintings, they are poorly pasted on thin pieces of print paper, backed onto cheap cardboard, totally in line with other reviews I chose to optimistically dismiss when deciding to purchase. I kept them due to overstock's great customer service on the phone, however, will be needing to replace the cheap "art" with something I purchase down the road from a real artist. These look great in subdued lighting, as another reviewer also stated. They absolutely will embarrass you if you allow any of your guests to see them for what they are up close, so hang then in a dark area up and away a bit. Mine will be above large dressers in an Asian themed room. For the price, they are a good buy however, for four small pieces. I am learning on overstock there are a mix of really fantastic steals, and "you get what you pay for" deals". This leans heavily on the side of reality, but if you can't afford nice art just yet, these will be better than most things in this price range locally. I will also mention I bought the matching waste bin, although it does not advertise as matching, they are made with the exact same four pasted prints.

These paintings are not realy paintings. They are cheep prints pasted on cardboard and not pasted well. They are framed in plastic frames that have been made to look like tarnished metal or wood. But from a distance they look very good. So if you are going to put them up some where were they are high up on the wall and can only be seen from a distance they are a steal. Other wise do not buy them because it will cost you a fortune to return them because of their weight.

Very nice! Paintings are bigger than the images let on! The pictures themselves have a very cool aged effect, and the frames also have a nice antique finish, with raised chinese characters. Sturdy design, looks great in my asian-themed living room! Overstock should definately get some more because these were a great deal!

The pictures are cardboard reproductions that are framed in a carved-like frame. The frames look great and enhance the poor quality of the prints. They appear of higher quality when viewed from a distance. An inexpensive accent to an Asian-themed room.

Beautiful pieces. Fits and looks great on my wall. I know my guest will ask about where I got it and would be sure to direct them here.

I can't say that I'm overjoyed with the quality of these pictures. Up close in the daylight they look pretty cheap but for where we put them, they look awesome.

I ordered these paintings for a Christmas gift. I wanted to see them first before I sent them to my friend and I was really happy with the purchase. My only complain is that as soon as I opened the package I felt the smell of the painting, a little too strong for my taste. Also I had specified that this item was a gift, but instead all the paintings were wrapped on bubble wrap, not even in a box.

i bought this for a gift for a 50 something. she has a collection of different art around the house. She absolutely loved the frames and craftmanship. Great value and great gift!!!

They look great from a distant. They look good up close. You can see that the painting is actually paper glued onto the board. One of the paintings I received has the appearance of having been glued onto an uneven board. When looking closely, you can see a straight ridge underneath towards the center of the painting. That said, you do have to look closely. They still look great. I'm still happy, and see them as a value.

Very nice for prefabs. If you didn't look at the mounting on the back, you'd think they were worth a lot more. They look very good as a couple of groupings in my bedroom. Definitely worth more than the price.

Paintings look good in the photograph and the price was right but product is cheaply made. I needed to move the hanger pin so the frames would hang straight.

I am completely dissatisfied with the product that was shipped to me. It was NOT the product I ORDERED! The frames were not "antique" at all; they were "flat". The dimensions were not as displayed in the product info; the measurements were short 1.5" total. 2 of the 4 prints were not the same as pictured (the small scripting at top right hand corner of print were not there. The women on the print were the same size as the other 2).

I was disappointed in these pictures, which would have worked perfectly in the space I had in mind. The pictures themselves are simply photos on pasteboard clamped to the back of the frame, some of which did not fit flush. The frames have a faux leather border, pasted to the wood of the frame. This "leather" was peeling or coming unglued on two of the pictures. One of the pictures had white markings on it -- like the photographic process had misfired. Overstock sent a second picture at no charge, but the "leather" on the frame was peeling worse than the original. I ended up sending them all back. I've always had good look with Overstock, but these were a miscue in my opinion.

This isnt just a set of beautiful pictures of women of Asian decent it also tells somewhat of a story. They are also very sturdy, i dropped one & it didn't crack or dent anywhere :)

The inner border of the frame was a simulated leather that was sticky. They we just what we wanted and for the price were great and look fab on the wall.

Perfect, fits my wall over my desk. The pictures are just as they are as avertised, so much so that everything I am buying for my home is from overstock ....LOVE IT

i received this item today and instantly printed a return label. very cheap, looks nothing like the pictures you see above. looked like spray painted plastic and (i think ) leather that was already peeling off. Has a very cheap cardboard print as the "painting". I didnt expect too much for the money, but i expected a lot more than this. very disappointed.

One of the four pictures arrived "sticky"; had not dried before being wrapped in bubble wrap for shipping. Still, another of the four had a frame that looked unfinished when compared with the other three. It lacked any luster, as if that step had been omitted. All four had smudges of glue on the image of the geisha itself. Quality, overall, even for the low price was very sub-standard. This factory may "serve nice lunches" to its workers, but quality control apparently does not exist. I did NOT send these back for one reason: returning any item that you have opened gives Overstock the license (they believe) to charge you a hefty fee for examining them. FULL refunds are not something one should expect. For this reason, I will not order from this company again. (I will be surprised if this review reaches the public; Overstock appears to like only favorable reviews.)
