I have spent time in Peru and admire the generally high level of craftsmanship there. These bar stools have the beautiful leatherwork and woodwork as I expect in nice Peruvian-made items. The combination of dark wood and tan leather looks great in our kitchen. Plus, they are a nice size and also comfortable. BRAVO!

I couldn't be more pleased with these bar stools. The craftsmanship is meticulous, and the end result is flawless detail. The design is perfectly centered and squared on each piece. The wood is stained evenly, and the finish is as smooth as silk. The leather meets the wood underneath in an invisible seam. They are strong and sure to last many years. Moreover, they were hand packed in a way that made them almost impossible to damage. Each dowel was marked with a number, and the matching hole was marked with the same number. The pieces fit perfectly, and I assembled them in about five minutes each. They really are special, and I appreciate the fact that they came such a long distance. They look just beautiful!

Do NOT BUY THESE IF YOU PLAN TO SIT ON THEM! They ARE pretty, but both of them have fallen apart while someone has been sitting on them. I am not talking large people, I am talking 130 pound GIRLS! They just do not have substantial joints. And there are no screws holing them together.

I LOVE this stool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It more than a stool it is truly a work of art and a wonderful show piece. This is a gorgeous stool. It is not orangish it is brown, light brown, but perfect!
