I ordered this because my kids and I struggled to make it but survived because they never lost faith, hope or trust in me. It wasn't always easy but It was pleasant due to the love and trust we have for one other. I have one daughter and one son. My daughter is now 19, attending University of Louisville to become a Dentist and my son is in the Navy. My daughter and I visit my son every other month but we speak on the phone very often. This statue to me represents the love we share for one another, just the three of us. I ordered three, one for each one of us.

It's the perfect touch to add a little something to my decor. As far as true hand-craftsmanship goes, I'm impressed. After reading the reviews, I was expecting some minor level of flaws, but I could honestly not ask for better qualtiy unless I wanted a machine to do it. It is amazing someone actually carves these....

The statue is bigger than the picture makes it look. It is perfectly sized for a serving bowl or platter and also looks great standing alone. It is really beautiful and the craftmanship is great. perfect gift for the person that has everything.

The carving on this statue is very rough-not as attractive as it could be That being said-the price was very reasonable and since I was giving the gift for its symbolic value we were able to overlook the quality

This was larger than I anticipated, which was nice. It looks fantastic on my console table with the other items I've collected. I am searching for a clear bowl to sit on top, but kind of like it just as is. Very nice!!

Just received my statue and I absolutely love it. It's a little darker than pictured, but the details are great. Another item to add to my African collection and a link to my heritage.
