The piece was broken I was told that I would be sent a label to put on the return box. I never recieved it I was also told that the piece could not be replaced. A very disapointing transaction.

I purchased the item as a gift for my mother. She was very pleased with the size and the quality. She actually had a piece of glass cut and place on top of the item. IShe recieves many compliments as it sits nicely in the living room.

Please be careful when ordering this product. I ordered this as a birthday gift back in November, and due to delivery policy it was left outside and stolen. Only today, a month and 17 days later did I finally receive the statue. the impression I was left with when ordering was that this was a beautiful piece of art. Well i must admit that there is a certain level of skill involved, it was much darker than the picture let on. Also the staining on the wood was sloppy and rushed, not uniform at all. I thought this would be a perfect base for a coffee table as the picture hinted at, but it was far to small for this. And it was dirty and covered in dust..very disappointed.

I brought the multi color one and when it arrived I saw that it is dark in color. But overall, it is a nice looking piece.

I purchased this because we have a family of five and I thought it would make a nice dining room table centerpiece. I was pleasantly suprised. The quality was better than I expected. It looks really nice with a colorful bowl resting in it. I is also much larger than I expected.

I got this as we are a family of 5. It is a beautiful piece and is very original. It is a great symbol of our family unity.

I love this and what it stands for the only thing is I got a different color than I ordered so I was a little disappointed but not at all with the caftmanship

I use the carving as a centerpiece on my coffee table. It's beautiful and a great conversation piece. I am very satisfied with the carving and glad I purchased it.

I bought one for myself and one for a friend. I am considering more!! These stands are so multi-useful, and beautiful. I use mine variously as a holder for my plant, as a holder for a large popcorn bowl, and as a tray stand/side table. They are so easy to move about and set up with one hand! I have never seen a carving like it. I also bought a third giraffe carving for a friend who collects giraffe items. See my review there! This piece is absolutely beautiful and I still stare at it and wonder how they managed to carve this out of one piece of wood!! A great piece for anyone who has this type of decorating in mind....fits into my room beautifully!!!

I ordered this statue two years ago. I have it placed on my dining room table as the center piece with a gold leafed glass bowl on top. It is absolutely breathtaking. I get so many compliments from everyone that visits my home. And the complexity and design is fascinating. How they carved that piece by hand is unbelievable. Not to mention the price. I know many stores that have statue like decor with prices too high for the purchase. This product is well worth it...

I was kind of disappointed, I thought this was bigger, I wanted to use it to put a round glass top I have on it. Its Ok if you set it in a corner in a room I would recommend this depending what you are using it for

Had a friend who brought one of these back from Africa. I loved it. So was happy to find one at such a low price. I looked on-line at import shops, and they had less detail for more money. Overall, I think it's a great piece and you can't beat the price!!
