This table is absolutely beautiful. It is also pretty heavy. Please be aware that the color is a bit darker than the picture. That worked for me and I love it!

I purchased this table (without chairs) on last week of Dec, 2007 and delivered one day before. Delivery person left the package outside the house. This piece of wood is really heavy and the packaging is exceptional. It took me 15 minutes to assemble the table and looks great with color and exceptional handcrafting on the edges. Only issue was that one of the bolt (screw) was not fitting correctly, because of washer thickness. So I put screw without the washer and is OK now. I'm waiting for the chairs, since they were out-of-stock and hope it will come soon. Don't forget to put felt-pad under each leg to avoid any scracthes to floor.

This table is beautiful and the matching chairs are too. The size is perfect for my small condo. I love that I can see the workmanship of the artisans who carved this table. The color is gorgeous and the wood has a good depth of grain shading. I was very pleased to see that the chairs had been hand-carved as well. The chairs have a wide, long seat. There are two small line cracks in the legs of the table which I attribute to the naturalness of the wood. Not a detraction from the table. The legs of the table taper nicely. It's almost a piece of art. One leg bolt was missing - but it doesn't seem to affect the stability. The only problem I encountered was with DHL delivery. Not only did they tell me three different (and wrong) delivery dates/times, but the driver left the boxes at the foot of my stairs. I live upstairs. The table weighs 100 pounds. I had to ask neighbors to move it up the stairs for me. DHL was extremely unhelpful. The table is great! I highly recommend it.

Still love this table years later. Fits perfectly in our breakfast room and I use mismatched dark-wood chairs and leather. The carving is beautiful and unique. Always get comments on it when people visit.

Very happy with the table. It's surprisingly heavy (box noted 104#), a very solid piece of furniture. The stain was darker than I'd expected, almost a dark walnut, but still nice. There was a scratch on one leg, and a small chip on one of the carvings, but neither is noticeable unless you are really looking for them. Otherwise arrived in good shape. As other reviewers noted, you do have to get both screws in each corner going before tightening. We had to jiggle a couple to get them to bite, but wasn't bad. And the wrench included was actually the wrong size for the screws, just a little large. That said, we got the legs attached in about 10 minutes. Altogether, very pleased with this purchase.

Table came damaged despite proper packaging. Thankfully I have a great handyman that did a seamless repair. Table itself is beautiful. The workmanship is amazing.

This is a beautiful table. It is unique and like nothing you'd find in a store in Great Falls, Montana. We did have problems with the bolts for the legs. It seemed some of the metal thread receivers that were put in the table to receive the bolts were inserted to far and the bolts couldn't grip them. We left the washers off on 6 of the 8 bolts. One bolt has a washer and the 8th bolt had to be replaced with a longer bolt from the hardware store. Overall, it was a small problem worth dealing with to have the table. Love the matching chairs, too.

I received the table very quickly, without damage. The package is very heavy, so you'll definitely need at least two people to carry it into your house or apartment. Assembling the table (you attach the legs) was relatively easy, although some of the bolts didn't quite fit. That didn't present a problem overall because enough of the bolts did fit and could support the legs. I've gotten several compliments on the table, and I haven't had any problems with it. I recommend it!

The first table I received had damage to two corners in spite of being packed well. Overstock replaced it without any hesitation. Only one small problem on assembly. Two of the screws would not screw into the predrilled screw holes straight. We discovered that inside the holes were some remnants of wood left by the drill. We coated the screws and sprayed the holes with WD40 and were able to insert the screws with no problem. The table is beautiful and very solid. A unique piece of fruniture at a good price.

table. In reality looks slightly different: finish is much darker and more cherry-mahogany than chestnut - which in my case was perfect match to what I already have. Order arrived on time (5 days) and intact. Very easy to assemble, 5 minutes and all done. I am very happy with this purchase.

Solid piece of furniture, was pleased. Yes the color is darker than it looks online, it's more like a dark stained cherry or mohagony color. The carving on the side is nice. I was looking for something a little more interesting and this was great. Fits well in a smaller space either for more formal dining or in the kitchen. Bought the 4 chairs to go with it and looks very nice. If the chairs are out of stock, just wait or email and ask them, they usually come back in a few weeks. I highly recommend them.

Beautiful, strong, excellent craftmanship. Very good value. No problem assembling. It took me 10 minutes. Very well wrapped. I ordered the table on a Saturday night. It arrived the following Wednesday. Could not ask for better service or quality. The table blends perfectly with all my other furniture. I love the table and I am very pleased with the service. Definately full marks all the way.

This table is incredible. It is well made and sturdy. The finish is a chestnut color (medium to dark brown) and has a fine furniture appearance. The table looks like it cost several thousand dollars. The only negative part was the DHL shipping. Dropped, Hurled and Lost delivery struck again. It's a good thing they packed this table VERY securely, since the outer box was significantly damaged. Delivery was also badly delayed. They drove from Utah, thru Texas (1/2 mile from my house) and on to Ohio (1700 miles away.) Then drove it back again. ( at $3/gallon for gas) No notice that they attempted delivery the first time. The second time they just left if at the door and drove off -- no knocking/no bell etc. Due to be delivered on 7.28, it finally got her 5 days after the expected delivery date.

This table is more beautiful than I imagined it to be, goes perfectly with another antique coffee table that I own. Very sturdy construction, took my daughter , 30 minutes to put together. Came very well packaged, showed a tiny crack on one edge, but can be easily buffed, not returning for that . I am anxiously waiting for the matching chairs to come, in the meantime, I have two spider back chairs that goes perfectly well. Love it.

This is a gorgeous table. Fairly easy to put legs on. Had difficulty getting one screw in one of the legs, so, I didn't put it on, but, it holds fine without the missing screw. All in all, it's a good deal for the money.

This table is absolutely beautiful and completely unique. I have had so many compliments on it and the matching chairs. The only problem that I had was that it came so effectively packaged that I couldn't inspect it prior to accepting delivery, so I had to take my chances. It took me a long time to unwrap everything and no delivery person would have waited. It did have one small chip in the intricate carving but the table is otherwise so pretty, I wouldn't have returned it anyway. Very happy with this first Overstock purchase and everything else I have subsequently bought. I'm addicted!

I ordered this table on Sunday and it arrived on Friday of the same week. The table is really nice, I have had two people ask me where I got it from already. The only compliant I have is one of the legs does not fit properly. This is a workmanship error. Aside from that the table is great. The table is a little darker than in pictures here on the site.
