First off, the way its size is described is misleading and incomplete, so it didn't cover the length I needed it to. I was going to try to make do with it, but a couple of days after I got it, the canvas separated from the frame on one of the panels. Also the canvas is thin, it might be 7# but I doubt it. So I sent it back.
Although this screen is akin to a "double-faced" artist's canvas (a light wood frame covered in white canvas on both faces and all sides), its tall-and-wide size and relatively low price make it perfect to hang on the wall of a tall-ceilinged and/or large room.....to get something more in-scale with large spaces. In our interiors installation, we painted dark, mounted with local-home-improvement-store-French-cleats to the wall, then hung smaller artwork atop. The layering gets the whole design in to scale with an oversized wall -- and is much more interesting.
I got two of these dividers. A 7 foot 8 panel and a 6 foot 3 panel. I am using them to divide a section of our basement. I think the quality is excellent. No issues. With the way our basement is designed, I was able to take the 8 panel and make more of a straight wall instead of the accordian way of making it stand. I need to order one more 6 foot to complete my plan. I would had ordered it earlier but I wasn't sure how many I was actually going to need. Happy with the purchase.
