The picture doesn't reflect that the trunk extends about 4 inches from the wall so it it has a very 3D effect. It made it a little more difficult to decide where to place it due to the trunk extending out (thus the -1 star for appearance). It is heavy and well made. I bought 2, one for me and one for a fellow Ganesha-lover. The package came with a postcard from the artist written in his language with and English translation below. I was impressed. I usually buy items at bargain prices at discount stores, resale shops, etc. so the price was higher than I normally would pay. However, since it was a Novica product (National Geographic), I assume it was fairly traded and the artist was paid well for their effort. That helps justify the cost.
