  We purchased this as we did two others of Kwan Yin, they add very nicely to our décor. If you wish to see the picture during the day, it needs a back drop curtain - these are lovely

  When I unexpectedly found this blind I knew it would be perfect for us. An off red-color (deep coral or salmon) was just what I needed. I was looking for a covering for one large (48" wide) window in an alcove that needed privacy and would not be used or opened. I hung the blind so the phoenix is centered in the window. "George" as my husband named the phoenix, provides a "wow" factor and appears to be more of an art piece than a window blind. George looks far more expensive than he actually was. We are very pleased with the service (which was very fast) and the product.

  • Did the color match the color displayed onsite? yes - the color is an off-red, almost salmon or coral, which was perfect for me. It is NOT bright red. (the color is true on my computer monitor)

  I have purchased other decorative blinds from this manufacturer, and find them to be just fine for my purposes. I needed something to keep the heat of the sun out, while still allowing light in. The sunflower pattern is all but invisible with the sun behind it, but the blind keeps the heat out nicely. I used another to hide an ugly (useless) mystery door in my old home, and the pattern is pretty with the white painted door behind it. The pattern shows nicely at night, and if the look of the pattern is what you want, line it with something as another reviewer suggests. Easy to install, works well!

  I highly recommend these Shoji paper blinds. I have been ordering them for years. They are so easy to install, which is a must for someone who is not good at such things. They provide enough privacy and also filter the light just right. I love the variety of color and size options.

  The blinds did not go up and down. As far as I am concerned they are useless.
