Story Behind the Art:
Khun Santiparp's ancestors were once employed by the Thai Royal Palace to create benjarong pieces for the Royal Court. 'For generations, my family operated out of Bangkok, where my grandmother began the first family shop after receiving a commission from the Royal Family. My work is really a genuine Thai handicraft that originated during the later Ayudhaya period, 400 years ago. My benjarong represents a genuine art and important cultural and historical values.'

Absolutely dissatisfied
I was totally lost for words when I received this piece. I have been shopping with Overstock for some time now, but this was the most disappointing piece I've ever received. If you'll looking to display an accent piece don't purchase this one. IT'S TRULY NOT WORTH THE MONEY AND THE PIECE IS TOO SMALL. I'm contiplating on returning this piece for a full refund, but the postage will probable cost more than I paid for the piece. Trust me. Save your money.
