I bought this before moving and had my room painted according to the description. I was not disappointed! It's a beautiful duvet cover and pillow shams. Only down side is the duvet is hard to get on (more so than other duvets). Over all, great buy.

The set is beautiful. The primary colors in the quilt is burnt orange/rust, with a few dark crimson accents and a black border. The accent pillow are each different and distinctly beautiful. The workmanship is excellent. I get lots of compliments on it.

I have a black and white theme in one room and needed a bed covering. This blanket is large enough to serve as a spread. It is lightweight, warm, and adds a folk art interest to the decor. I am very pleased with the purchase.

I was thrilled to find this Guatemalan bed cover and pillows on Overstock. I was in Guatemala a few years ago and have other Guatemalan things in my decor, so this fit right in. The price was probably less than I would have paid, had I bought it in Guatemala, but the Worldstock Fair Trade designation assured me the artisans received a fair payment for their work.

This quilt was purchased as a gift for my daughter that has strong ties to the Guatemalan area. It arrived on-time, in beautiful condition and the quality of both the the quilt top and backing is superb. It comes with loops for hanging as artwork if desired and makes a warm and beautiful bed cover as well. Highly recommended!

This is not a quilt in the usual American sense; there is no batting. However, as a decorative bed covering or wall hanging, it is lovely. The piecing is well done, with interesting and unusual fabrics. The black backing/border sets the warm colors off well. The king size is quite heavy, but there are sturdy fabric loops on the long side for hanging. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I really do love this throw. The bold pattern, the softness of the material, the color, and the edging details are all beautiful. The pattern color is reversed on the opposite side. This is lightweight and currently being used as a decorative coverlet on my off white sofa for the fall season, but I will use it as a part of my bedding sometime in the future as well.

When I opened the box I was surprised to see that the colors are MUCH darker than they appear in the photos. The close-up photo is especially brighter than reality. That said, I love my new bedding. The pattern may be a bit busy for some, but it's unique, and the look and quality are great. The pillow cases are really long, though, so make sure you've got big enough pillows to fill them!

This quilt immediately caught my eye since I was looking for ways to make my bedding compliment the rest of my Latin-American inspired decor. I was so elated when I opened the shipping box and saw the quilt with my own eyes. It's even more vibrant in person and it completely dresses up my bedroom. Personally, I love that the lining behind the rose pastels one is black and that the quilt provides the right amount of coziness. Also, I think it's helping with my allergies. I previously had a down comforter and my allergies are so much more manageable since I've been using this quilt. It feels good to support this amazing Guatemalan craftsmanship, and this quilt makes me smile each and every morning!

For example, if a square inch of fabric in a 300-thread count sheet with a standard weave were examined closely, 150 vertical threads and 150 horizontal threads would be counted, for a sum total of 300. The higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be.
