The set is beautiful. The primary colors in the quilt is burnt orange/rust, with a few dark crimson accents and a black border. The accent pillow are each different and distinctly beautiful. The workmanship is excellent. I get lots of compliments on it.

I was thrilled to find this Guatemalan bed cover and pillows on Overstock. I was in Guatemala a few years ago and have other Guatemalan things in my decor, so this fit right in. The price was probably less than I would have paid, had I bought it in Guatemala, but the Worldstock Fair Trade designation assured me the artisans received a fair payment for their work.

I really do love this throw. The bold pattern, the softness of the material, the color, and the edging details are all beautiful. The pattern color is reversed on the opposite side. This is lightweight and currently being used as a decorative coverlet on my off white sofa for the fall season, but I will use it as a part of my bedding sometime in the future as well.

When I opened the box I was surprised to see that the colors are MUCH darker than they appear in the photos. The close-up photo is especially brighter than reality. That said, I love my new bedding. The pattern may be a bit busy for some, but it's unique, and the look and quality are great. The pillow cases are really long, though, so make sure you've got big enough pillows to fill them!

Very disappointed to discover that the "duvet cover" included in this set does not have an opening - no buttons, zipper, ties, nothing! - in order to fit a down comforter inside. The packaging calls the product a "quilt cover," presumably meaning it is meant to just be laid over the bedding. This product is not at all the way it is described on the overstock.com website. The "silk" feels more like acrylic, and it is so thin that loose threads from the decorative stitching can be seen through to the cover. I guess the whole set would be ok (if you don't want a real silk effect), but not without an actual duvet cover! I've never had a bad experience with Overstock before, and I'm very disappointed to learn that I have to pay to have the return shipped. This is completely unacceptable. I thought I'd give their "worldstock" program a try, since we have lived abroad and love adding to the exotic look of our decor, but never again! If this product is any indication of the quality of the work in the program, I want none of it, especially if I can't return bad merchandise without penalty.

Great service and quality product. I also ordered a 2nd set of pillows from Overstock and love those too.

As with other reviews, the zipper is broken and does not close. The pillow is attractive. I bought it more for decoration, so the zipper is not a big issue.

The thread count of bed sheets refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. For example, if a square inch of fabric in a 300-thread count sheet with a standard weave were examined closely, 150 vertical threads and 150 horizontal threads would be counted, for a sum total of 300. The higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be. Equally important in choosing a bed sheet is the type and quality of the materials used as well as the fabric's weave.
