Wearing this beautiful jewelry sets you apart as an important supporter of opportunity in the slums of Kenya where opportunity is scarce. Working with brilliantly colored beads, the 15 young men and women of Zakale Creation Self Help Group find a sustainable income and a path out of the Nairobi slums. Jedando Modern Handicrafts is a Kenyan organization that works with individual artisans throughout central Kenya who create functional products. Well-educated in the characteristics of fair trade, Jedando Modern Handicrafts provides a worldwide market for Kenyan craftspeople who no longer can rely on the tourist market for sustainable income.

Love these bracelets
I love these bracelets and hope that I am helping an artist in Kenya. The only complaint that I have is that the clasp is a little loose, so I really have to be conscious of wearing it. It has slipped off a couple of times but fortunately it's a pretty big bracelet so I always know.

Bracelet lost on first wearing due to faulty clasp
This is a beautiful bracelet, which I purchased with the matching necklace as a Christmas gift. The bracelet was lost upon the first wearing because of the faulty type clasp. Very disappointing. Will have to change the clasp on the necklace to avoid similar loss. Bracelet and necklace need either a spring clasp or a lobster clasp.

A little disappointing
This bracelet was so-so. I think there are much nicer African bracelets available for the same price. It was too small for me. I have a 7 1/4" wrist and could not hook it. I am returning it.

Tighten the Clasp
Pretty but be sure to tighten the hook. It fell off the first time I wore it and I was lucky to find it later.

Product needed a sizing chart.
I couldn't find a sizing chart so I was alittle surprised to find it smaller that I thought it would be. I bought it for a friend for Christmas so I'm not sure if it will fit.
