'My name is Mayda. I was born in East Java. My hobby is making designs in my sketch book of dresses, bags, jewelry and other fashions.
'After I graduated from the university, I moved to Bali and worked in a garment company for two years. Although I've lived in Bali since 2000, I haven't forgotten my village in Java. Together with several friends, I formed a group of people to create home decor items, fashion accessories like bags and jewelry, and also dresses.'

Beautiful Green
This actually is a scarf....I have worn it and everyone loves the Batik.....Beautiful!!!!!

Batik Lime Garden Shawl
Although I appreciate the art of batik, I feel that this item fell a bit short of what I know can be produced in Indonesia. I also feel that it was overpriced considering where it comes from. Could have probably bought it in an upscale store for that price, which I would never do. LIkewise the size is more like a large scarf rather than a shawl. I will keep it, because it's easier than returning it, but I was a bit disappointed. This is my first purchase from O that has disappointed ... considering the many past purchases I've made it's still a pretty good record.
