This shawl is a beautiful accent to just about any outfit. It can be worn as a shawl, of course, but with the new fashion trends right now, it can be worn as a scarf too. The black has a bit of a "blue" hue. The design is gorgeous and is well made. The nice thing about it is if I wear it with a blue outfit, it will still accent nicely. Its just a little shorter in length than anticipated, but still works wonderfully. Highly recommended.

I was very pleased with the scarf, intended as a gift for the holidays. The only problem was it came via FedEX and it required someone to be home to accept the package, I was not aware of this and had to make arrangement to pick it up myself at the local FedEx facility a good 20 minutes away. Would have prefered Overstock to notify customers that this product would be shipped via method requiring person to sign or be present to accept package, that way I could have known in advanced and made an informed decision. Most of my other overstock packages were left at the door, which is fine with me.

I found this shawl to be lovely, comfortable, the size advertised, and lightweight but not flimsy.
