  I am so happy that I purchased this piece as an X-Mas present for my daughter and her husband. It exceeded my expectations and they were delighted when they opened the box. I especially loved having free shipping and handling AND a coupon for a percentage off on the piece. Love, love, love it!

  This table is very nice to look at but did not come with the right parts to put it together. The top is one piece (which is already assembled) and each leg is supposed to be held on with two large bolts. When the table arrived, there were only four bolts sent (there should have been 8) and they only protruded about a 1/4 inch, which was not nearly long enough to hold the legs in place securely. I contacted Overstock about the problem and it took their parts department over two weeks to get what they said were the right ones. I got an email telling me the "correct" parts had shipped but if they did not work (I guess even Overstock wasn't that confident) I could return the table for a full refund. The new parts did hold it together, but the table seemed to wobble. We decided not to go through the hassle of returning it and I ended up shoring the thing up with L brackets and 3" drywall screws. This is pretty much the same experience I have had with all furniture purchased on Overst...

  Varnish did not adhere to the manufactured wood on the top. Returned item and looked elsewhere for new Christmas gift

  Although this table is priced reasonably compared to other industrial tables, it is still over priced for the poor quality. I love the rustic imperfections of reclaimed wood, and was under the impression that previous negative reviews came from the reviewers lack of appreciation for "character," but now I regret not paying closer attention to their comments, especially those about quality. The wood top is not a thick slab. It's a thin sheet with bulky glued on edges that make it look like a thick slab top in the pictures. The base looks sturdy but does not attach securely to the top so the whole table shakes every time someone leans on it or tries to cut their food. In short, it looks sturdy, but feels flimsy. Because of the cost to return the table, we kept it, but it is a huge disappointment.

  This unit looks really nice in the corner where we have it. Every one who has seen it has loved it. However, when you handle it, it is very flimsy and feels cheap. Nonetheless, it serves its purpose and people who come over like it.
