Product Features:
The bamboo is from the infamous Mt. HuangShan in China which was inscribed to the 'World Culture and Natural Heritage' list in 1990. It is famous for its magnificent scenery made up of many granite peaks and rocks emerging out of a sea of clouds. Local people use the locally grown bamboo to create various forms of carving art and decoration and sell to the tourists coming from all over the world. Tourism is an important income source for people living in the area.

Wall Hanging??
These interesting Bamboo graphics are just that....but there is no way to hang them....without some improvising. They arrived as depicted and previous comments indicated the "hanging" problem. If you can handle that inconvenience, they are an interesting item.. A more precise description would save a lot of disappointment....

Very cool
Just received this today. Picture is very accurate. Wood is very dark and the characters are in high contrast. It looks very nice. Each slat is held together by the woven cord only, meaning you can pretty much roll this thing up. Another note, there is nothing on the back at all. If you want to hang this up somewhere, you'll have to add your own hanging hardware or glue it. Nice little accent for the home.
