Their skills of hand-painting, hand-rubbed lacquering, and hand-tooling have been passed down for generations. Many artists are hired from semi-retirement to train the next generation of master craftsmen. Their craft and culture have survived many Chinese dynasties.

Beautiful but Broken
The lamp is beautiful and go's well in my living room, BUT the first lamp came broken so they replaced it well the 2nd replacement was even worst more broken that the first so they sent a 2nd replacement I just got it and It is Broken also! I told them more than once to wrap the bamboo feet cause they are fragile and writhe Fragile handle with care on box but warehouse refuses to to that so they break in shipment! well they are going to send me yet another replacement I hope this time they wrap it and write Fragile on Box and it is not broken!!!
