This product was created in North Western India. Once the British removed their armed forces from the region in the late 40s, a majority of the industries available for the local economy disappeared with them. The indigenous people went back to the traditional crafts and furniture manufacturing that they had known for generations. This industry has truly created a renaissance in economic growth in the region.

round claw foot coffee table
A handsome piece which is reminiscent of chippendale furniture, but fits quite well into my ecletic living rooom. the brown finish works well sage and khaki upholstered furniture. Assembly was easily assembled, and unpackaging it was was equally assemble. the size of the table is a large enough for entertaining , but small enough to use in more initimate and informal settings. the round shape is nice in that one is not constantly bumping into to it as one passes by. I would certainly reccomend this piece to friends or family.

Gorgeous!
I've wanted a round coffee table for years and I finally found the perfect one. It's simple and graceful in style so it fits with any decor. The color is a very dark brown..almost black. I found a leather sofa that's the exact same color & they look great together along with the gold round leather rug that I got here at Overstock.com. I am so happy to shop here!!!

Good, solid little table
I like it. It works for me. It is a good size and very solid, and I happen to really like the sort of "rustic, un-fussy" look of this Indian furniture.

Simple but elegant
Overall I'm happy with the table. The surface was scratched in multiple spots but these were superficial and I covered them up pretty easily with ink. Assembly was easy. With its simple design, curved legs and solid wood construction the table is both rustic and elegant.

Ball foot round coffee table
This coffee table is a beautiful dark brown color, just what I was looking for,but.... the wood is very soft and scratches very very easily, I put a coat of polyurethurne on it to help make it a little stronger but ended putting it in my bedroom in the corner, due to the fact I have 4 grandchildren living with me and they wanted to play on the table. It is very pretty, just not if you have small kids with toys.

Exactly what I was looking for
I needed a small round table for my living room which has limited space. This was exactly what I was looking for, looks great and goes with my other furniture.

Perfect
I ordered this over the weekend and it arrived on the follwing Tuesday. Exactly as described and perfect for the small apartment I am putting it in. Assembled in less than 5 minutes. The table has a rustic feel and it is solid wood.

Nice Looking Table
It is a beautiful, richly colored, dark wood table and it is easy to put together. One of the table legs had the pre-drilled hole a little off from where it should have been but knocking that leg in with a little bit of hammer work solved the problem just fine.

the table i received had a crack down the center of the table, as if someone tried to repair it and then ship it that way. the legs were uneven, wasnt happy to have to return it.
