I bought 2 in the natural color, (like a nice white oak). Very comfortable for bare feet. They turn our large bathroom with the cold, dark gray, stone floor into quite the "spa" bath! They do not slip around, and wet foot prints evaporate quickly and do not leave water marks, or stains. The black binding is also good quality and colorfast. Just FYI: The slats are 5/8" wide with a matt finish and the black border is 2" wide. I use a bit of rubbing alcohol or my steam cleaner on areas that need to be sanitized. Very, Very happy with this purchase.

I have been rolling over this mat with my desk chair daily for many months now...holds up well... matches my dark cherry desk but a shade or so lighter...I like the contrast.

Ordered the bamboo rug after reading all of the positive reviews and it certainly lived up to the reviews! It is very attractive while being easy to clean and extremely durable. I use it in my entrance way where it sees a great deal of traffic and yet it still looks brand new. Additionally, when people come over, they comment on how much they like it and express interest in buying the same rug.

I purchased several of these rugs in varying sizes for my new apartment in the lightest color. They are very nice to stand on in the kitchen or bathroom. They are very durable, which I was concerned about because I have a dog. My only complaint is that they don't stay in place all that well despite the rubber grips on the back - I would recommend putting another backing on them so they don't slide.

I first came across bamboo rug at my friend's house and thought it would be a great idea to put in my bedroom after dealing with regular area rug. Those are hard to clean and collect dust. As soon as I open the box, I was ecstatic. I loved the color and the feel walking barefoot on it. I just placed it over my existing area rug. Two nights ago, I spilled oatmeal over a large area of the rug. I quickly wiped it down and dried it. It was so easy to clean and didn't pick up any odor. The oatmeal did get into the cracks between slats. Once it dried up, I can vacuum it out. I don't foresee any problems with cleaning it. Initially I was going to use a rolling office chair over it. Although 3/8" thickness if way better than the 1/8" at other "import" stores, I'm afraid it's still too fragile to take the hit. So far so good and I'm very happy with the purchase.

I am using this in my entry way as a simple rug to catch dirt before I take my shoes off. It does the trick and looks very nice. Simple, and just what I wanted. I have smaller ones that I use as mats to my basement and backyard as well.

good rug - it's looks exactly like the pictures show, and is a great rug. I still am waiting to see how durable it it, though. It seems like some of the bamboo slats might break if not treated carefully, but this is the first one I have owned, so I really don't know about these rugs

I have one bamboo rug similar to this but smaller, and had wanted a larger one for my kitchen. What I especially like about this one is that that backing has rubbery dots on it so it's already non-skid. Very pleased and looking forward to having it for many years.

Good heavy duty bamboo product that (unlike my previous wool carpet) should last for years. I use it in my office under my desk chair, in order to protect the hardwood floor beneath. Only gripe (a small one) is that it makes some noise when I move my chair around.

I have wood floors in my office and an office chair could eventually damage them. Thus the bamboo carpet is under my chair and the chair moves very smoothly. Thus my floor is protected, and I can zip from desk to file drawers to computer quick as a wink.

This works out very well in my Asian motif home office. It cleans up fine with a vacuum or dust mop and there is no curling or fraying of the fabric border after many months of use.

We are going to mount these on 4x6 sheets of plywood and use them as chair matts in a carpeted office. I bought the chocolate and the color is uniform and consistent and the fabric edging (in black) appears to be sewn on evenly.
