This rug was created with all-natural bamboo grown in the mountainous regions of China. These handcrafted rugs were created in the Shondong province of China by master craftsmen in a workshop run by the Liu family.

Not what I thought
This is a wooden bamboo rug. I didn't realize this from the description or picture as I have bamboo socks & sheets that are soft & woven. Not what I wanted... returning.
