I was looking for something different for my new kitchen with tile floor and took a chance on this rug based on the stellar reviews. They are everything others said they'd be and am looking into getting the 4x6 for the computer and chair area. One note: I ordered the mahogany color and another in the burnt. The mahogany looked like someone had taken a red magic marker and colored the bamboo. Very disappointing and after the fact, I noticed that the rugs couldn't be returned. I'm using it in the bathroom as a shower mat (they work surprisingly well) so it's OK. The burnt is everything I hoped it would be and so great that I ordered 2 more of them. I have two white cats so the black cloth border on the rugs does attract their hair but they are so easy to vacuum/clean that I don't consider that a minus. All in all a great rug and I'm quite pleased with my purchase.

I'm using the two rugs in front of a bathroom sink and kitchen sink. They are very practical and easy to clean: a damp paper towel for spots, and a cordless electric broom. The only drawback is the black border, which shows every bit of lint, dust or cat hair. I'm thinking about putting my own border around it in a more neutral/practical print or solid. In general, these rugs require no serious vacuuming, shaking out and washing, as did my other more-conventional rugs.

These rugs are well-made, very attractive, safe (gripping on the back), and versatile. They do not have the look or feel of their sometimes cheaper cousins, despite the good price. I am considering purchasing additional rugs.

Bought two of these rugs(2x3)for in front of bathroom sinks in burnt orange. Very different and striking, have had many complments on them. They are very easy to care for just wipe them with a damp cloth and they look great and great price as well.

I've purchased a few bamboo rugs from O. This one is pretty good, although the slats are narrower than the standard bamboo rugs offered (and narrower than the photo indicates), and it lacks the protective lacquer that makes the other rugs I have easier to clean. Since production varies, the rug you get might be slightly different than pictured. I am using this in a small rental apt kitchen.

I have two of these in my kitchen and a larger size in the family room. The quality is excellent and they look beautiful. As others have mentioned, the black backing is a problem at our house as we have multiple shelties - so hair clings to the black border. It does vacuum up easily. I have had these for months now and they are holding up very well. I have the 2 x 3 in the 'blonde' color. Very nice, but the reddish larger one is my favorite - very rich looking.

I'm in the process of renovating a kitchen and extended red oak floor from an adjacent room into the kitchen. Being concerned about typical water splashing from the sink, I ordered this Asian Bamboo Rug to place by the sink. The color is almost identical to the floor so it blends nicely. I didn't give is five stars because I wish the latex backing was a little thicker. But all in all, I think it will work out nicely once the kitchen is completed.

I have several of these in high traffic areas in my kitchen. One of them was slightly damaged (I bought them at another site) and I needed a replacement. I found this and it looked like it would be an exact match. It is - it might be slightly better quality than the one I was replacing--but it is the right size, right color and I am very pleased.

I purchased this to place in front of our deck door o protect the hardwood and it is working very well. Does not slide at all and is very this, so allows plenty of clearance for the French door.

The rug arrived quickly and looks great! I ordered the Burnt Bamboo color and love the way it looks! I like the way the rug has the built in "grippers" on the back to help keep it from sliding. I think it's looks more expensive than the price I paid for it here on Overstock! I'd recommend it!

This rug was intented to be placed in my bathroom. The quality and overall apperance of the rug was so unique that I used it as a table place mat on a coffee table. The backing is so soft that there is no possible way to have it scatch my table. Great Buy

This is just beautiful! I like it came with little 'grippers' so it doesn't slide on my bamboo floor. My dog & cats even like it.....not scared to walk on it :-) Would buy again & recommend to friends. Thanks Overstock!
