Story Behind the Art:
This piece was created by Liu Yung and his 18 year old son, Chu, a family of woodsmen. They have employed many villagers to work in their factory in the Fujian province, on the southeast coast of China. They make about 1,000 items in the span of one year, as well as some other beautiful items.
What is Worldstock?

JUNK, TOTAL JUNK
This thing is horrible. I cannot believe Overstock sells this piece of junk. I put it together this weekend and not only is it warped, but the pieces do not fit together properly. We bought this for a stage prop for the theater...so we had to shore it up with screws and braces. It is completely flimsy and will rot if you use it as a planter. Overstock should give us our money back or a portion, thereof....especially since we are a nonprofit community theater group. Shame on them for selling something SO junky.

Wheelbarrow Planter
Received this today, whoever wrote up the instructions for this needs to have their head examined and wheelbarrowed out the the manual writing position that they have..The instructions are not clear, looking at 4 pictures of to put it together simply isn't clear . If I had read the other rviews 1st I might not have bought it..I got most of it together myself; I know I have to replace some of the screws with better ones.er ones. If you don't have patience or someone to assist you; don't waste your money.

Fir Wood Wheelbarrow Planter (China)
I would not buy this. I was so disappointed. It was missing pieces and when put together it was falling apart. My husband had to use glue to make it stick.

not good planter
i bought this last summer and it was difficult to assemble..it needed some reinforcement....the first time i used it was fall with some fall mums in their plastic containers...it was beautifu outside by my shedl...but it didn't last long before the bottom fell out...don't waster your money on this unless you are going to put it in a protected area with perhaps silk flowers...then it would be a really pretty piece...you get what you pay for...i should have known something this price would not hold up well..

Kicking myself
I am kicking myself for not reading the reviews. I love Overstock but can't believe they would sell something of such poor quality. I second every comment in the reviews. The instructions were worthless. Some of the screws weren't die cut so that you could get the screwdriver in them. The wood was warped and split when you tried to screw them in. The cuts weren't cut to fit. We worked and worked to get it put together and it was so beat up by the time we were thru that we just threw it in the trash. It wouldn't even make good firewood!

Cute idea, but EXTREMELY FLIMSY PRODUCT!
Everything you see in the photo is cosmetic - the wood has not been treated or sealed, and is so lightweight that putting this together was like building a house of cards. Any parts that arrived pre-assembled came apart in the process of putting the wheelbarrow together. I had to secure those with additional screws. With the first rain, the bottom panel broke in two and my potted plant fell through.

It fell apart trying to put it together. Not suitable for pants. Waste of money.
