  I did not mistakenly think that this rug has an orange border, but based on the photo, I also thought this rug would be "warmer" than it actually is. The flowers are peachy pink and burgundy, not orange and rust, and the green is a bit bluer than I expected. The rug is very pretty, but it doesn't work in my living room and it's being sent back.

  color is from bright green to green /gray in the middle. there is no baige at all. quality great, thicknes great, feels great under feet, but be aware that color is not at all as pictured. I will keep it as quality is good and you can't beat this price for a handmade wool rug.

  The colors of this rug are as described, but computer monitor cannot do justice to the subtle richness of the these colors. I was concerned that the colors might be a little harsh and the design a little too graphic for my decor, but it blends beautifully. It's the room's focal point but doesn't steal the show. It is tightly woven and has a very soft hand. Read about Overstock's Worldstock program which brings high quality products to the U.S. market while at the same time bringing fair profits and prosperity to talented craftspeople in developing countries. We are very, very pleased with this purchase and will shop Worldstock in the future.

  I have owned this rug for 6 months. I waited to write a review, so that I could give you a good/fair review. This rug is BEAUTIFUL. It is a nice sage green with ivory. My biggest and only problem with this rug is that is sheds...not a little....it sheds alot!! It is like owning a large green dog. I expected some shedding in the first month or so, but it was terrible!!! I have two small boys who play on the floor all the time. The first few months this rug shed so bad that everytime we got ready to leave the house I had to change their clothes. They were covered from head to toe in small green fuzz....like we owned a large green dog! I would also have to change MY clothes because I was covered in green fuzz after changing them. It was terrible! Every time I vaccuumed I would fill up my vacuum 2X with green fuzz...just on an 8x10 rug. 6 months later I still get a half a canister full of green fuzz everytime I vaccuum. It has gotten better. My kids can actually lay on the floor without be...

  I would have kept this rug, but the color was wrong. The pattern was correct, the size correct, but the colors were rust/black/turquoise instead of red/navy/aqua. The photo was much nicer, so it was returned. I was charged return fee, but better than get stuck with a whole new color scheme for my living room. Customer service suggested that the image on my computer screen might not look exactly as the rug received. The stated color speaks for itself, and should have been the dominant rug color.
