The large area rug I purchased had a couple of snags in it. If the rug wasn't too heavy to wrap back in the heavy plastic it came in and carry to a UPS store I would have returned it for a replacement.
rug is definitely worn - 30 years old, there are thread bare areas in many place and the color is uneven - clear fading the pattern is nice, and the salmon is ok, but purples are not visible - much more brown - and much darker than it looks in the picture Plus its 0.25 inch pile thickness, not 0.5 inches, so its like a kilim rug, not a plush rugÂ…but not was tight weave as a kilim I returned it , as its too expensive for a rug in this condition
I was looking for an area rug in size of 5' X 9' to put by my entrance. I couldn't find it anywhere and when I came across this one, I was very excited. To be sure, I submitted a question to Over Stock to ask them to double check the rug size for me if it is true 5' X 9' and they confirmed. I placed the order and it came with size 6' X 9'. I decided to keep it because I like the creamy yellow color but I am not too happy about the price. An exact same rug in lime green is $*** cheaper (sold at $***), I would've gotten that lime green if I knew this rug is the same size as that lime green one (6' X 9') to save myself $***. Or I might just pick another rug at 6 X 9 at cheaper price. The only reason I paid more was because I wanted a perfect size of 5' X 9' and it seemed to be the only option I had. WRONG!
The carpet color and size were so good for me--and of course, for a 10 x 14 ft. area rug, the price was great. I am concerned about future piling of the rug. It does not have a soft feel underneath your feet (which you do not notice when wearing shoes), and the cross-stitch they mention in the description is just that--you see the tiny stitches and that is fine--but with years of wear and tear, I am concerned how long the carpet will last before having to replace it.
Great rug. Thick but doesn't shed. Orange, tangerine and off white and grey colors look great together. Using in dining area.
I can't say enough about this rug. These beautiful wool runners can be so expensive, so I was a little leery paying such a great price for this. But it is FANTASTIC! I absolutely love the way the rug looks on my wood floors, and it feels so great underfoot. It is a wonderful pile for a runner in a high-traffic area (hallway past the entrance). It is beautifully made!! I would buy from this rug maker again in a heartbeat.
Very nice quality in all respects. Colors aren't quite as yellow as shown in the photos, so be aware of that, but the rug is lovely, regardless. Just the thing to define the area in front of a reading chair.
This is a really soft and gorgeous rug. It's a little too big for the area I purchased it for but I liked it so much I found another place for it. Soft
This rug was perfect for our office area which has a lot of dark wood shelves and a darker desk. The rug is lighter but as expected. Good quality for price.
