'Wall hanging is intended for all who love flowers and would like for nature to come into their homes and fill them with color,' explains Maria.
'I'm Maria Uyauri Celis and I was born in Lima, Peru. One day while talking with a friend and neighbor, I mentioned that I wanted to work. She belonged to a women's support group. I remember a German woman came to our group and helped us with design. Once she held a contest and let us choose any theme. I chose 'The Peruvian Jungle.' She liked it a lot and I won first prize.
One day, we women got together and I decided that with the little bit of money we each could contribute, we could buy bolts of fabric and spools of yarn and thread. With these materials, we created our first pieces to sell.
But eventually we came to have a lot of different opinions in our group. This helped me realize that it was time to work by myself. By then, I had wings and could fly on my own.'

Absolutely loved it. It is colorful and cheerful just as I wanted. I only wish it was bigger. It looks great in my bedroom but would brighten any room. I can not wait for my grandchildren to come visit me and they notice it. I know they will just love all the colors as well as the little people and flowers in 3-D.

When I first ordered this unique wall hanging, I thought it seemed a bit pricey. However ,upon receipt, I was wowed at the detail and the colors. Quite intricate and beautifully 3 dimensional. It comes ready to be hung on whatever you want to use. I found a wonderful tree branch and hung it on that. It is now the focal point of my living room.
