Just got this end table. The quality is very poor. The Geisha images are glued wallpaper. No Laquer or mahogany is evident. It has a poor quality paint job.

All the furniture I got from this seller was of poor quality and will send it all back in particular this table smells like a newly paved road w asphalt and the painting is hand glued paper and not hand made at all Dont be fooled

This item was smaller than I expected, although the dimensions are accurate, so it was my own fault. It arrived with damage to the top back though and we returned it. It is actually a lovely little piece, but not terribly well constructed and the wood seems to be particle board, not solid wood. The painting on it is a glued-on canvas or picture.

I have several Chinese teapots and am an avid drinker of tea. This is a perfect chest for my tea collection. It is a "gentle" piece of furniture that fits well in any room.

Nice accent piece - I used it as a night stand in my guest room. I mixed the Asian style with some other styles but pulled in the golds, blacks and reds to coordinate it. The painting on this is done on a sort of paper which is applied to the surface, so I gave mine a quick coat of polyurethane to preserve it and prevent stains. It's pretty roomy inside, and the two little drawers on the bottom are good for storing small items.

THIS ITEM IS VERY SMALL FOR THE PRICE. I WAS NOT ABLE TO USE IT FOR A END TABLE BECAUSE IT IS MUCH SHORTER THAN ANYTHING I HAVE. THE ART WORK WAS NICE BUT PUTTING TOGETHER I STILL HAVE NOT MASTERED.

While this table looks good from a distance, up close one can tell that it is cheaply made. I do not feel that I was ripped off, however -- it just wasn't a bargain -- you get what you pay for. It was well-packaged and was not damaged at all in shipping.
