The piece may look like the picture if you have a larger frame, but I have a very small frame and I don't get the same effect. In case you didn't read the description carefully, the silver is higher quality than sterling silver (.950 as opposed to .925 the sterling silver) and this is characteristic for most pieces of jewelry coming from that country. The workmanship of this necklace is OUTSTANDING: very intricate design made with a lot of skill. My stone was flawless: heavenly blue (::smiles::) with no golden tones as other reviewer mentioned. Yet I'm not sure Angelite is supposed to be golden at all. Maybe the light in which the reviewer looked at it was different. Very, very beautiful necklace - please pass my compliment to the artist!!

When I first viewed the Skydrop necklace, via photo, I thought it was lovely enough to purchase. When it arrived, I was stunned with the beauty of the stone. The golden glints within that capture the light are magnificent. Then, of course, there is the way the necklace sits upon my collar bone. It makes me feel elegant, plus I have been told I also appear equally so, by others. Some do mistake the stone for a rare shade of turquoise, which it is not. There was actually very little waiting, for the arrival. That also was a pleasant diversion. All in all, there are absolutely no complaints, while there is much to be grateful for. This is one of the greatest gifts I have found, for myself, and I adore confessing it.

Bought this as a gift for my wife and she loved it. I did'nt like the clasp as it seems like it will not hold on to well, but it is easier to put on than normal jewelry clasps. It looks really well on a person.
