I received the earrings yesterday and they are beautiful. You can tell they are hand made. The color is deeper than the picture and the stones are larger. These are the nicest earrings for the smallest price. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful cascade of purple. My only complaint is the ear wires are very short. I am going to put rubber stoppers on the wires to make sure I don't lose these gorgeous earrings. They hang just right and are not heavy.

These really are loving earrings, but I was looking for earrings to match a blouse and the color of these is very different. I was looking for the bright bluish purple that these appeared to be online. When they arrived, they turned out to be more of a redish-purple, sort of a wine color.

I knew my dear wife of 35 years has needed new purple earrings, so it was the color that first caught my attention in a pre-Christmas email ad. They looked so nice, and, being Overstock, the price was unbeatable. As always, the earrings came in no time. They're beautiful! And nice and big. Definitely a good deal. Karen opened them first thing, last night; she LOVES them!

I was please with the earrings, just to a long time to ship because I uesed the 2.95 option. Took almoost 3 weeks.

Bought these for a friend with a February birthday since they were Amethyst. The are well crafted and very pretty. Ordered a second pair for myself after seeing them!

I love the Amethyst 'Violet Clouds' earrings. I find I wear these quite alot. They are a beautiful color and extremely comfortable. I also get a lot of compliments when worn.

The stones are very pretty. My only problem is that the wires are very short. I lose earrings all the time and usually use plastic stops to keep them on and it's close to impossible because the wire is so short.

These are really pretty earrings but I have to replace the hooks so I can wear them. As another reviewer pointed out, the French hooks are very small and so flimsy there's no way to wear them without losing them. Just taking the earrings out of the box one of the hooks bent and nearly broke. So if you love the color and don't mind the price, buy them, but you'll have to replace the hooks before wearing them.

Very swingy dangley set of earrings -- they make me feel very feminine when I dress up and very dressed up when I wear jeans.

Earrings arrived in a pretty handmade box, but the earrings that were packed inside did not match : one earring had 7 elongated beads while the other only had 5! The wearer can tell and "feel" the difference, although the difference is not obvious to others. Too much of a bother to return the earrings for the price, so will just keep and probably have it fixed by a local jeweler.

I, as well as my girlfriend, were very pleased with this purchase. They are an excellent value for the money, and quite attractive. I had purchased an Amethyst necklace and tennis bracelet elsewhere and was looking for earrings to compliment them. Everywhere I looked had the same old dull looking studs. These earrings are quite unique and eye catching. Again, very nice and reasonably priced!

These are really lovely. The stones vary in shade from pale lilac to deep purple. The silver is beautiful. One caution though. The wires are quite thin. This makes the earring lightweight. But, it also means that even the little wire stoppers I use to keep wire earring on, don't stay. And sadly, only the second time I wore them, I lost one earring. They hang down about 2.5 inches and just hit my neck at the top of a scarf. I'm back for my second pair, which tells you how much I love them. Will just have to really watch to be sure I don't lose another one.

Very pretty amethyst stones in this pair of earrings. The earrings are just the right length.

I wanted something purple and different - and that's what I got. You can tell they are hand made, but it adds character IMO. The only drawback is that the earrings are heavier than I am used to - but that is because the stones are larger than I was expecting. I really love these earrings.

The ear rings were nice and colourful and what was promised. The package took a while for postage and was a day over what was advertised.

I am really enjoying these earrings. They are fun and pretty easy to wear with anything. My ears get tired after about 10 hours of wearing. They are true to their picture.
