Product Features:
Peruvian artisan Abel Rios has been crafting leather items since he was 16. His older brother, Hector, taught him. 'The trade continues to fascinate me and consume most of my days,' Abel says.
'When I was 23, I opened my own workshop in my house. I cut and tool fine leather with a distinct style and skill that you won't find in many workshops. I design many beautiful Inca and colonial motifs, and emboss those upon the leather. I am especially happy and proud that my products are being sold all over the world now through the internet.'

Awful
Since I knit, I know quality yarn and can recognize quality alpaca fibers as well as all natural fibers. This carf was way, way too overpriced for the (poor) quality of yarn the scarf was knit with. I bought it to give as a gift to save time but ultimately went out bought some skeins of good alpaca yarn and knit my husband a nice soft, attractive warm scarf for the winter, which of course, he loved.
