Story Behind the Art:
Puriqwarmi, Quechua for 'Woman who walks, who moves' is the artistic name of Sonia Lopez. It is how her father referred to her. 'My interest in handicrafts comes from our own family traditions. My father is 91 and he still creates artisan pieces. My mother spins and weaves wool. I am dedicated exclusively to textile arts, something I've done from the time I was quite young. I try to interpret pre-Hispanic design by way of my feelings, and transmit them through contemporary techniques.'

Measure your head first!!!!!
So disappointed because this is just the style and material cap/hat I've been searching for. I want it to fit down low enough on my head to cover my ears and as an average adult this hat will not fit the style I'm looking for. I'm afraid stretching this will snap and unravel the entire hat. Hope the imports will get something more stylish fitting in soon for adults.
