Story Behind the Art:
'My name is Alfredo Falcon. I was born in the capital of Peru on August 7, 1968. When I was but a small child I learned from my parents the best weaving techniques--like me, they had learned them from their own parents. This makes us a family entirely devoted to the world of textiles, and we have been for generations. Nowadays I combine weaving by hand and on classic machinery, remaining true to Inca and colonial motifs. I would like for the world to receive through my work high-quality products, with modern colors and traditional motifs. I hope you enjoy them! Thank you very much, my friends.'

Not even close!
This was advertised as artisan made and wool! It's clearly a machine made acrylic sweater that you could get at any department store. I am soooo disappointed. National Geographic should be ashamed! It's shiny too, which makes it kinda cheap looking. I am sure if you are looking for a thin, shiny, acrylic sweater, this would be to your liking. If you are looking for a quality, heavy wool, peruvian sweater, then this is not it!

- How accurate was the sizing? It's massive! Ridiculously big. It's super wide but the shoulders are not especially big. So if you have a broad upper body, but are not enormously heavy, this sweater will look ridiculous..

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my brother n' law. He loves and my sister stole it from him. It's so warm & comfortable. Love it.

Nice, but more wool please!
This is a nice sweater. It has a nice shape, it's true to size and my husband likes it and it looks well on him. I would love to have an option to purchase one made with 100% wool and/or natural fibers instead of being a 50/50 blend with acrylic, though.
