Story Behind the Art:
Raquel and husband Gregor are dedicated to preserving Peruvian textile traditions. 'What draws us to weaving is the opportunity to work with natural fibers by rescuing ancient Inca weaving techniques. We love to see the transformation of loose yarns into garments and accessories. We help an Andean community by employing weavers on traditional looms who then help us finish each piece by hand.'

nice gloves!
Purchased these for my sister who is very picky. She doesn't like anything that feels scratchy on her skin. These are soft and looks great with the basic black that she always wears. The glove is not bulky like some of the others that you see and is quite stylish! My sister was riding a bus and saw someone wearing fingerless gloves. She discretely put her's on and said the other person looked quite envious! She says it's perfect for the chilly mornings waiting for a bus.
