I bought this as a night light for my bedroom and it has become a centerpiece!! All my friends love it. I keep it on most of the time because my bedroom is quite dark. It is on the floor next to my night table...it is exquisite. Much better looking than in the online picture!!

This is obviously an interesting lamp, but it is not made for a reading lamp. It is more for decorative/ambiance than anything else. Also, while placing the lamp on the table, the wires at the bottom is not very well thought of. This is going back just for the fact that it doesn't work for us for what we intended on using it for. This is a nice decorative piece though.

i did my guest room in sort of leftover furniture and in a seaside motiff....this little lamp was exactly the finishing touch....it just adds so much to the room and gives off a nice soft light....actually, the room looks and feels great...i go in there to fold laundry....and i still like it....
