The table I received is a bit different than the one pictured. It is 16" high and over 10 1/2" in diameter, the table top is not level and the 'African Couple'are more simply carved and quite vertical (parallel to each other). None of this, however, detracts from its beauty or usefulness. It is absolutely perfect next to my reading chair. Just the place for a drink and a book.

The picture gives the appearance that the top is larger than the bottom when in fact it is all the same. (maybe 6 to 8 inches across) There is no way this can be used as a table of any sort. It will be fine as an accent somewhere, but not functional as a table. I feel it is over priced for what you get.

I love this table. Its very easy to blend with the decor that I currently have and it came all in one piece. It is VERY SMALL. It didnt work well for me as an accent (end table) but I did keep it for decorations. It's really neat and overall I like it just not for the purpose of a table. Its more like a high sitting stool. Oh and the delivery was GREAT.

The table is very nice. It looks exactly like the picture on the website. It is small and rustic looking -- just what I was looking for to include with my other afrocentric decor. Happy Customer....JLSNC

They look great, but I bought them as nightstands to my low bed... the height is right but the tables are TINY! and not sturdy. But they do look cool.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL ACCENT TABLE....I AM REALLY ENJOYING IT...BECAUSE IT IS KIND OF SMALL AND LIGHTWEIGHT I USE IT TO HOLD A SMALL LAMP...I MUST SAY...SINCE I HAVE BEEN ORDERING WITH OVERSTOCK I HAVE RECEIVED EVERYTHING I N A TIMELY MANNER AND THE PRICES AND SELECTION OF ITEMS ARE GREAT..I REALLY LOVE THE SITE....

The finish on this product isn't great. It looked a lot more refined online. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

nice piece to have; gave as a gift to my father, and he loves it because it is the perfect height to rest his coffee cup on while reclined on the couch reading; workmanship is also very nice and rustic; it's perfect for someone who wants something different and interesting. be warned that the table is quite petite!! would be wonderful for apartment living

I bought these tables for my daughter upon advice from a feng shui expert to help with her love life. They are being used as night stands. They are beautiful, sturdy, and well-made. Just the right size to hold bedside lamps. She loved them. Then she met a nice man about two weeks after changing her room and she is very happy. she thinks it is all due to the placement of things. The tables came very quickly and in fine form.

Beautiful tables, add warmth to a room without taking up too much space.

This table is great for one or two beverages, as a stool if you have a small bottom or even to hold a potted plant on top. Caution, the color is more dark brown than the black as it appears in the picture. Nicely carved.

Very cute. Initially i thought it might be a little too low but it has turned out to be great,not only does it look good, it is also pretty light so it is constantly being moved around the room!!
