This little blue and white box is slightly larger than I was expecting, but looks charming sitting on an accent table and perfectly compliments my wall arrangement of Blue Willow platters.
I have this piece simply placed on a glass top coffee table as part of the styling in the room which includes several other blue and white porcelain pieces added to our family room full of Scottish plaids, leather chairs, large heavy bookcases filled with family and travel photos as well as our personal library. Love this artwork! Bought with "Sumptuous Sun" & am very happy with both. My husband slightly bent some of the cut-out "flames" upward to give it a more 3-D effect & it just pops! Very mystical looking face. I want to put it in the front of my house so EVERYONE can see it but it will go on my patio so I can see it every time I'm in the backyard. Beautiful piece, kind of coppery & gold colored with a red accent around the face.
This fan makes a great gold accent piece for decoration but I wouldn't recommend it for functional use. It even comes with a small dark wood stand you can attach it to so that it stays spread out on display. It worked perfectly for what I had intended it for in that setting. Great addition to my maroon/gold bedroom.
