  There was a very strong odor when the rug was removed from the packaging. It was so strong, I was hesitant to place the rug in my living room. I called Overstock customer service and they informed me that it needed a couple of days to air out. They were very helpful and indicated that if the odor persisted to call them back and they would assist in an exchange/refund. Unfortunately, the odor did not go away - I gave it a little over two weeks. At times, I thought it was getting better.... but when I would leave the house, I noticed the smell as soon as I returned! Had to return the rug, even though it was just what I was looking for.

  I was lookng for a unique rug for my living room...I have beige wallls and a warm peach accent wall in my living room!!!!..needless to say I did a lot of research in trying to find a rug that would match those colors and pull together the whole room...I was looking for something that was high quality, was not too busy and still unique and decent looking. When I found this rug I was ecstatic thinking the color would go perfectly with my accent wall. When I got the rug initially I was a bit dissapointed as the edges turned out to be more pink than the peach color I was hoping for. Nonetheless I chose to keep the rug as it was beautiful and looked to be good quality. I just purchased it a few months ago so cant really attest to how well it will hold up in the long term.

  I love this rug. I purchased it for my living room. I was a little hesitant because it is very much animal print and I don't typically go for that. I'm so glad I did. The quality is fantastic. Online it looks yellowish, but in person it's a beautiful brown and oatmeal color. It looks so nice with our leather furniture and teal accents. My ONLY thing is that it isn't as soft as some of the other rugs I felt of while shopping, but my 6 month old rolls around on it and I feel like it's soft enough for her. I get tons of compliments and I feel like it's very durable. Just buy it already!

  I am happy with the purchase of the Indo Hand-tufted Mahal Brown Wool Rug. It is a beautiful addition to my dining room and complements my red wall perfectly. The carpet was true to size stated and the colors were as pictured on my computer. The carpet is shedding, filling the vacuum each time I clean and I hope that after awhile it will cease.

  The colors are like jewels. Unfortunately, they do not go well with my room because the red is really a bright cherry red. If it had been more rust (as the rug label says), it would have been fine.
