This unique piece of jewelry is the result of a talented, small family business in Jaipur, India. Almost all the goods are produced by talented artisans working in their homes, allowing them to stay in their villages instead of being forced to migrate to urban centers in search of scarce factory work. Traditional handcrafted arts and techniques are kept alive, and, as the artisans' talents are in demand, they receive better wages than the average worker.

Gorgeous earrings
Beautiful, sizeable earrings. Stones have great color and cut, and look gorgeous against the gold of the setting. They get a bit heavy for me by the end of the long day, but overall comfortable to wear. An incredible value for the money.

What a pleasant surprise! These earrings are even more beautiful than shown. Beautiful, subtle color, substantial size. Sparkly stones. Tailored look, but wear them with anythinb! I am thrilled with this purchase. Only thing is: now I have to put my hair behind my ears in so I can show these off!

not what I expected
Based on the reviews I expected these to be better quality. The color is great - it is very light, but I like that. However, the stones are two different sizes and they appear to be flawed which you can see in the light - like they are cracked somewhere. The gold plated sterling feels cheap. I'd keep these if they were maybe a third of the price, but at almost *** they are going back.

washed out
I got both of the earrings: topaz and amethyst and both colors look very washed out. The overall design is good but the stones look like glass not a real stone. Also the description of the earrings did not mention neither the quality of the stone nor when it was mined from. It would be nice to know since the look like glass. Looking through the reviews of other ppl that got those earrings, only one person mentioned that the color is washed out.

Beautiful earrings
Lovely earrings, comfortable to wear, very rich-looking. The cut of the stones make them very sparkly, and the metal-work was excellent. I'd recommend them to a friend in a heartbeat.
