This hand-crafted item and many others come from a third generation family run factory in mainland China. Their skills of hand-painting, hand-rubbed lacquering, and hand-tooling have been passed down for many generations. We are proud to support them in their quest to keep their age-old techniques alive for future generations. Many of the artists are hired out of semi-retirement to work from home training the next generation to become master craftsmen. These masters are highly respected in their craft and their culture which have survived through many Chinese dynasties and continue to produce valuable and desirable pieces for your home decor.

Great decoration for a large space.
This is a nice piece for a large area. Make sure you know the dimensions and measure it out before you buy it. It seems bigger in person than the measurements say even though I know it's not. Mine did not come w/the decorative hanging mounts but a quick email to Overstock and they were sent w/in 2 days. This isn't the highest quality piece but it looks nice from a distance. Very light weight and easy to hang on the wall. I'm not sure if I would use it as a room divider if it weren't anchored to something else.
- Did the color match the color displayed onsite? Yes
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality is OK. Not top quality but if you don't get too close you can't tell.
- How accurate was the sizing? Yes. I knew the size buying it but it seems larger now that it's here.
