This is a great mat for pilates! My daughter and I both love them, however, if anyone were thinking of purchasing this mat for yoga, you will need a sticky mat on top for standing poses, as it does not grip and slipping is a probability. That said, if purchasing solely for pilates and/or floor exercises, gently yoga- you can't beat it!

I purchased 10 of these mats for clients and was looking for at least a 2 inch thickness for comfort, since my clients range in ages of 10- 90. I was a bit disappointed in the description of the thickness being 2 inches, in actuality it is about 1 inch thick. Other than that it's okay.

I have only recently become a fan of yoga, but it is fast turning into my favorite exercise. These mats save my hands from the burn of the carpet. They are incredibly thick for a yoga mat and I love the material--it seems to repel moisture and stains.
The product is much more comfortable than other mats but it is definitely NOT 2" thick as described in the materials. A little expensive for the materials.
