I bought this guard but it felt clumpy in my mouth, I dont know if mine was missing the stuff to mold it but I put it in very hot water then put in my mouth and bit down sucking in as instructed but nothing happened. I had to take a blade and try and get all the sharp box like edges off of it till it felt somewhat comfortable but still , what I paid for it it should have been easier and better quality. I was disappointed but will continue to shop overstock because overall their stuff and shipping cant be beat.
I had spent a great deal of money at the dentist to have a custom night guard made. I hated it. It never fit right and I ended up never wearing it. I think the impressions were not done correctly but since the dentist sends the molds to an outside company there really was no way to have it fixed. So, I pretty much wasted the money. I tried several other brands of nightguards and never found one that I liked...that is until this one. I was skeptical about ordering this one because it looked really bulky. While it is bigger than some of the other options out there I found that it is by-far the most comfortable one to wear. The best feature is that you can remold it a few times to get the perfect fit. Other products can only be heated up once and if you don't get it perfect the first time, you are in trouble. I have a small mouth and this worked for me. If you are having trouble finding a nightguard that you like you should definitely give this brand a try.
My dentist wants $450 for a nightguard that isn't covered by my insurance. This is a good, cheap alternative and it seems to do the trick.
