I do like these cans. The only problem with them is that they require replacement batteries rather often (maybe I should get better batteries) and they fly open at unexpected times: when a curtain blows over it, when the cat swats the top of it, etc. They are rather gimmicky, but fun and an attention getter for guests.

I am so pleased with these trash containers. I use one for trash, the other for recycles. They are good size: too large to put under the sink, but not so big that they look obnoxious. With how many times everyone uses the trash cans, it made sense to spend a little more for one that works better than average.

Love it, very easy to operate and understand. Also easy to empty. Came with a plastic piece that supposedly fits around the opening to hold the bag,but the piece did not fit. No matter, the bag holds fine without it.

I purchased my 1st Touchless trash can probably 5 years ago for close to $100 but it was worth every cent. Recently it started making weird noises and I realized it was growing old... but its service had been flawless. I didn't relish spending another $100 but also couldn't be w/o this trash can!!! So, not only was it a surprised that Overstock had it, but I could get two!! and the cost of the shipping made it even sweeter. My last concern was... it this JUST like the one that was dying????...yep!!!.... the same one! The old one went to the laundry room, the other new one will go to the Fl. house and this one...well were back to perfectly quiet operation in the kitchen and no messes! I do have some recommendations: put the front part of top lid on first, then the back; the ring inside to hold the trash liner molds itself to the inside so put it back the same way each time; I use a large rubber band [bought at grocery store] around the top of ring to hold bag in place so it doesn't slip and lastly don't push hard to compact stuff as the bag and ring will slip out of notch and fall... otherwise enjoy many faithful years of service.

I love the trash cans, but one has already gotten a small dent in it. But still a great value for the price. One of the units did come in slightly dented from shipping. But the dent was small and in the back - so I just kept it rather than going through the hassle of the return process.
