Besides aiding in getting up, this also helps in being able to push up onto the bed. It stores an is very sturdy. Very happy with this purchase.

Great bargain, but small....not for large people! Chair and back, arm padding is good. But there is scarcely any padding on the leg-rest. Fiber a bit stiff. But, if you are looking for a good deal, then this is it.

I haven't used this product yet, but it appears to be of good quality.

My husband assembled this rail in less than 30 min. He had broken a toe and had other injuries from falling out of bed. This rail has made his sleeping in bed a safe place to be.

Makes the recliner so easy to operate. My 90 yr old mother says it is amazing. I didn't give it a perfect score for quality because one of the screws didn't work right but I was able to work around it.

The Lever Extender makes it possible for someone with RA to recline without assistance. It does work on a Lazy Boy and price is much less than what LB offers.

This is an excellent apparatus for those who need extra support when standing up or getting into bed. I have MS & have difficulty doing these normally minor tasks. My husband always had to help me into bed, as I would slip down & fall at times. I have nothing to grab onto. Now w/ my bedrail, I can manuver myself easily, not waking or bothering my husband to help me. The added security also helps prevent me from falling out of bed if I try to turn over. I can grab it to change positions & also get in & out of bed. The pockets are a PLUS+. I can keep any items I need close by, tissues, remote, pad & pen, cell phone, etc. Very roomy. It is also very easily taken when we are away, it folds easily & fits into our large suitcase, otherwise folds flat to put in the back of our car. It simply slips in between mattress & box spring & stays secure!!Thankx again OVERSTOCK!! I always find what I need right here!!

Just had a total shoulder replace, and I am no flea weight. The side rail fits well on my adjustable bed, was easy to install. It is quite sturdy. It makes getting in and out of bed much easier & safer. The pockets are quite handy for controls I pad, etc. could not be happier. It can easily be moved to use in motor home.

My husband kept rolling out of bed. This rail did exactly what I needed it to do. I chose this model with legs that go to the floor because I felt it would provide better support. My only quibble is with the fabric pocket, which tore and then shrunk when washed. I tried contacting the manufacturer, but got no response whatsoever - I was willing to pay for a replacement, but am making do. Your loved one may not be as hard on it as my husband is - he never quite go the concept.

bought this for a patient with Parkinson's disease but, unfortunately, it's on the wrong side for the patient. (Patient gets in/out of passenger seat and uses it in his left hand but apparently needs it the car caddie in his right hand.) Really thought this was going to work since we bought another Stander product to help get out of the passenger side using his right hand and that didn't seem to work either. This may work perfectly fine for others but since it didn't work for my use, I only gave it 4 stars. All in all it might be worth a shot if it helps!

The product is as shown and does exactly what it says it will do. The pouch on the rail is great for storing remotes, telephones, tissue, etc. It does not hinder the persons ability to get in and out of the bed. The only thing I would recommend is if the person is likely to put alot of weight or force on this product you might consider getting the rails that actually have feet touching the ground to give more support. They do give with force so if a person was very big the legs would help keep from bending the rail, or the person loosing their balance. Overall a very good product. The person I bought these for weighs less than 100 lbs. and just needed something to hold on to to pull herself up, at 93 sometimes you need alittle help.

Gma is 95 and had a heck of a time getting her recliner just right but now it's a snap with the Standers Recliner Lever Extender! It's a breeze to install, the quality is superb and it looks very stylish.

Easy to install, works as advertised. Rail is a bit narrow, but OK for the purpose.

This adjustable pole is well suited to my husband, who stands 6'5" and is disabled. We have placed it beside our bed (with the added expertise of a visiting physical therapist). We like it because of the many options for grabing while my husband stands and sits. It is also useful because the curved handles rotate easily by pulling out a large, handy knob. It rotates maybe 30 degrees before it can lock back into place. Very easy to adjust if you are approaching it using a walker, wheelchair, etc. The only issue we had was understanding some of the instructions when it came to assembling it. It is also slightly challenging to get into place because the strength/safety of it depends upon it being plumb or parallell to the wall. It definitely takes two people and a long level is helpful to make sure it is adjusted correctly. Once it is snuggly in place, it is very sturdy and safe. We've been using it for over a month now, and my husband has complete confidence in it. There is no slipping even though there are no screws used in securing it. A rubber pad on the base keeps the wood floor from scratching and assures good friction.

Fine for a short distance---wheels don't seem to "track" very well and makes the walker a trifle difficult to steer. The right hand side of the walker seems to be out of line and is a bit shaky when I try to straighten it out. Acceptable for a little trip to a restaurant but would not recommend for a longer excursion. The 4 inch wheels. which don't swivel, seem to be inadequate since I am used to 8 or 6 inch wheels on my other walkers. I do like the convenience of putting it into the back seat of my car and it is easy to open and to close.

My dad's occupational therapist recommended a Standers Bed Cane to help him with his balance issues while getting out of bed. Overstock had the best price... of course! Easy to put together. The pouch is handy, too.

This product (I thought!) would be the perfect solution to replacing the lever on my husband's reclliner which our 2 doxies had chewed off!! Unfortunately, I did not realize they had chewed the lever down to where there was nothing left except the bottom round part of the lever. There was nothing left of the lever except that bottom part. In other words, the recliner lever extender had nothing to "fit over"....therefore, in our case it would not work! However, if it is to be used just as an "extention" it is an excellent product!!!

This works great. I bought it for my 87 yr old dad so he could get in and out of bed easier. Mom and I put it together...we're no spring chickens, I'm disabled with balance problems and she's 83...but directions were simple, everything was marked...a little heavy for girls but we did it. If we can do it, its going to be easy for anyone else. Dad thinks its great and very helpful for him; he uses it "both coming and going". Mom likes is because it doesn't take up much room. I put it right (almost touching) up to the bedframe. Sturdy. Price is great about half of what the medical supple store was charging.
