I have purchased this item & the GPS contract to download the files. I cannot get it to work, The buttons stick & the courses will not download. I have tried to contact L1 Technologies but they will not answer my e-mails & do not publish a phone number to call. I have just wasted approx. $200.00 on a product that does not work & I cannot not get assistance from the company. Do not buy this product or any product that is from L1 Technologies.

This is NOT MAC compatible unless you have an Intel-based MAC with Windows installed. If you have a MAC, go with a Garmin instead.

I am pretty impressesd with the device thus far. I was considering an different, more popular, more expensive GPS unit and ended up pulling the trigger on this unit. I can't beleive that it works as well as it does, the membership is pretty much a one time fee for a year and then you don't need to keep renewing it, like the others. I am very happy with the accuracy and the size. I would definately recommend this to anyone looking for a quality GPS device.

Great little gadget. Not too bulky and a great price compared to shopping around for another one. Fairly easy download process, although you will have to pay $34.00 to get the golf course downloads...they are not free as suggested. But they have just about any golf course you would play to download onto it. Worked great on the golf course...very accurate. Is in black and white, not color, but gives you what you need...distance to the hole.

This product is wonderful! My husband and I both love using it. Once you learn how to download courses and then synch them to this little hand held unit, the rest is easy. Make sure you join the igolf program on line (annual cost minimal) and read the instructions. Then you can take full advantage of all this unit has to offer, which is more than just the yardage readings. Being over 55, we both need our reading glasses on to see the information, but we love it.

This product is awesome. I researched several other range finders before purchasing this model, and all of my expectations have been met. It is compact,extremely accurate, and the battery life is great. Club selection is so much easier now. For the money it can't be beat!

Simple to use, easy to download courses (not sure if the last guy was computer-illiterate or just has a Mac). Unit does its job, distances are super accurate and the custom points help deciding on which club to hit off the tee. Not sure if it helped my score much, but it defintely made club selection very easy. Now if it could only help with my swing...

This thing works great. The yardage was right on and it shows bunkers and other hazards that are around. Also showed end of fairway on doglegs so you don't hit through the fairway. You can't go wrong for the price. There web sit has a handycap tracker you put in your score and course and it keeps track of youe rounds abd for $35 for a year you can down load 100 courses on to your comp. and they are yours so yo only need to pay it one time if you use all 100 courses. If you do need to get more you pay it again and you get 100 more.

The only reason it isn't 5 stars all the way is because some of the course info could be a bit clearer. Sometimes an obvious refernces is not available on the screen. Defintley worth the money - I would recommend this to all.

I bought this iGolf Neo GPS for my husband and he loves it. It is very easy to download the courses (which I do for him) and transfer them to the unit. There was 1 golf course that wasn't on the download list so far, but otherwise, all of them have been. For the one time fee of $35, it is worth it. The GPS has improved his game dramatically and he says it's very easy to use. The only thing is the clip doesn't hold it on your pants, you have to put it in your pocket and hope it doesn't fall out. But for this price, it is definately worth it - wouldn't spend all that money on those other GPS's, this one does the trick. I highly recommend this for ease of use, ease of downloading and the price. You won't be sorry you got it!

I came across this product by accident when doing some research on SkyCaddie GPS units. I was looking to buy a SG2, which got overall bad reviews, and started reading reviews on this product. I was surprised to see this unit priced so low and speculated it was subpar. I was wrong! This GPS unit is stellar!! I took it out to the course the other day and it worked to perfection. I was able to map bunkers/water hazards/ layup areas etc. This shot distance function was easy to operate and most importantly the distances were dead on. I found this out on the 1st hole when I was a 7 iron distance from the hole. I hit it a few feet from the pin. I am most impressed with its accuracy and features. Downloading my local courses were as easy as tying a shoe, and it even came fully charged out the box. I never intended on using the belt clip (all reviews state the belt clip is no good...true). This item fits nicely in your hand and pocket. The buttons require a bit of a firm touch. The craftsmanship is simple, functional, and solid! This item is a real bargain considering all the other GPS units are several hundreds of dollars. Don't hesitate to buy this one, by far the best bang for your buck. Can't wait to take it to another course with my buddies!

I couldn't be happier with the Neo. It's affordable (as they all should be). If you want distances to the front, center and back of the green and lay-ups and hazards, this is the perfect device. The course download policy is by far the best one I've come across after serious research. The price is unbeatable. Great overall GPS device.

I bought one of these on a promotion from this site. The unit is small and very convenient. You need to subscribe $35 for course downloads. They have all the courses I was interested in so far. You can check this out for free on the iGolf Web Site. (It works with Vista 32, XP, Windows, Not VIsta 64 sigh) It tells you distance to the center, front, back of the green, and to some bunkers, the fairway even custom point you can add. You can also Map your own course. (Never tried it but it looks simple) . The only thing I would add is a clip fixed on the body. It is so small I'm worried I'll loose it. It seems to pick up 7 or eight satellites so it is always working. Distances are easy to read but the current hole is small. (you have to rember to change holes or your distance will be to the last green, Doh.) For the price it is a great device for some who knows (or wants to know) how far they hit. Note for durability I've only had it a week so far so good. One charge and Played 27 holes battery shows 80%.
