I work in the fire services and this knife has become a regular part of my gear. All of my coworkers carry some sort of cutting tool with them at all times. The stainless steel blade is razor sharp and the J-hook cutting edge can sever a seatbelt in seconds. The high carbon glass breaking point is handy in automobile rescues and the bright coloring makes it easy to find in adverse lighting conditions.

i have always been kinda nervous about ordering off line, but this was exactly what i wanted and it will hopefully be loved and used by my boyfriend.

I have 3 of these Firefighter M-Tech knives, and they are all well built. I like the seat belt cutter and the sharp point for breaking glass. The handle is big and fits my XL hand. The blade seems to hold a sharp edge for a long time. However, Overstock sells a pair of these Firefighter knives as a package, and that is a better value than buying this one knife. The only difference between them is the color.

I am very satisfied with the quality of this knike. For the cost, it is definetly a good buy!
