Great concept but much more difficult than the advertising and directions imply. Takes 4 not 2 people and they better be strong to engage the roof locks. We learned to pull up the legs first not last as the insturctions say. Taking down is also difficult once the roof locks are disengaged the accordian closure process gets stuck and takes coaxing and numerous trys to push into the square. The easiest part of the EZ-up canopy is putting it into it's roller bag. It looks good when it's up and provides good shade. I would not recommend seniors purchase this item.

I bought four of these pop-up canopies for our school. The price was really good, there were cheaper ones, but when I did my research I realized that if any parts of this canopy breaks or is damaged, EZ-Up brand actually has parts available on-line. If I'd gone with the cheaper ones we'd have to throw them away instead of repair.We used them Tuesday 6/16/09 and they were certainly easy to put up and take down, fit well in their case which makes transport (wheels) so much better! Another thing to note is that because this is a dome style, you don't have lots of extra head room that isn't used. The dome style actually pops up on its own rather than needing extra hands to make the peak. I think our school will get a lot of use out of these canopies - they are easy enough to take on a field trip.

I bought this for my husband after his was mangled when a wind storm blew up. As usual, it came in a timely fashion. Yes, you can open it yourself, but you really need two people to get it up and down easily and quickly. As for the durability, we haven't had it long enough to really say. All in all, it was a good deal, it didn't take long to get here and we have enjoyed using it. Thanks Overstock for the many good products we have bought from you.

Wonderful, easy to install...looks great and appears to be durable. However, price on Overstock was $20.00 higher than what I could have gotten in the stores. Saw the lower price the day my canopy arrived.

Our club purchased the EZ-up tent for protection from the elements during running events. We live in a very sunny, hot and windy location and it was a great addition for our last race. Easy to use. The rolling bag was helpful due to the weight of the tent. Very nice for the price.

This canopy has come in very handy on numerous occasions over this past summer/fall. Once you figure out how to erect the canopy it is much easier every other time thereafter. It's sturdy and packs away nicely.

We have lost two other canopies at the beach due to their construction and inability to withstand the wind changes. This is not the case with this one. It is sturdy, easy to put up and take down. We used it during our recent vacation in the Outer Banks and it performed well above our expectations.

Found this EZ Up tent on overstock.com for about 25 dollars less than other retailers. Product was ordered on Sunday afternoon and arrived that Friday morning, so shipping time was excellent. The tent came out of the box and took the two of us less than 3 minutes to set up (this is even longer than it will take in the future, as we had to attach the canopy top for its first use). Four ground stakes were included, as well as a zip-closed wheeled bag for storage. Everything was good quality, as EZ Up brands usually are. Used the tent all day for a BBQ with no problems at all. There was no rain the day we used it, but in the future I will spray the canopy with waterproofing, just to help it repel water a little better. But this is not a negative for the product as it is not billed as waterproof. Over all a good solid tent at a great price.

We purchased this product to use on the beach. It does take 2 people to get it up quickly. The canopy stayed in place even in windy conditions. We would have liked for the fabric of the canopy to be more heavy duty, but it still served it s purpose. It is an overall great product and will end up saving us a lot of money on umbrella rentals.

This is a good EZ-up portable canopy that goes up fast and does the job. I like how easy it is to take down and the carry case is quite nice.

Read a lot of reviews about this and was a little intimidated about putting it up by myself. Two people are needed to put it up. After a few times practicing, it is easy to put up. The directions aren't very helpful. It is excellent in the wind. At the event I used it at the other tents went flying, mine stayed put. Also had rain at the event. The rain that stayed on the top eventually leaked through, so I flicked the rest of the rain off and didn't have a problem. The only complaint is Overstock said the tent would be blue online, and a white tent arrived.

If you set it up, and take it down after use, then the canopy should work O.K. I however set it up the day before for an event I was having the following day. I also used tie-downs to keep it secured to the ground. Overnight we got a heavy rain and much to my surprise, the canopy top caved in, filled up with water until the weight was to much and it collapsed. It shattered the plastic supports bending and twisting the frame as it collapsed. It was a total loss. The only use I got out of it was the 15 minutes I sat under the canopy upon setting it up. I gave it 4-stars because it was nice, BEFORE the heavy rain. It might make a good sun shelter.

Held up very well at the windy beach- since we never read directions we winged it and took about 10 minutes to put up. Two person job for sure.

Arrived sooner than expected. Easy to put up, simple to take down and store. Exactly as expected. It would be nice if there were accessries like hold-down weights available here. But the canopy couldn't be better and at a great price.

Just returned from a week a St George Island, Florida. The EZ-up was setup on the beach and used it all week... the first two days there were winds of 15-20 mph all day and the canopy was fine and without any issues. Setup / take-down is easy and the canopy appears to be very well made. I would highly recommend this product.

Good product, good bag. Quick to set up with 2-4 people (you need people pulling on opposite corners). But the real product highlight is the shipping time. I received the tent within 36 hours of placing the order. Incredible job for the shipping department.
