The compass is of good quality, true and clips conveniently to my backpack like a carabiner, which is a nice added feature. The knife kinda slips on the carabiner part. and is of decent quality. The knife could be sharper. Bunch of stuff I don't exactly need backpacking - like say the cork screw and can opener - so I've since switched to a nicer multitool. I have given it to my nephew and he thinks its the best thing ever.

I purchased 3 of these (one for myself and each of my 2 sons). The knife is very good size (not too big as I have a thick one with lots of tools but too big sometimes and not too small as I have a very small one attached to my key chain). The first day we got it my boys and I wittled sticks together. The compass is nice except one of the 3 I purchased wasn't glued to casing. the other 2 were fine. Not that big a deal as I re-glued it myself.

I purchase this knife for my younger grandson (6) and he just fell in love with it. If I knew the knife had this good of craftsmanship I would have order more , one for myself and other grown men. Could not go wrong with this one for yourself or for others.

My son needed a knife for a program he is in. This was packaged so nicely I wrapped it and will be giving it for a Christmas present.
